The crux of the community here in Champaign-Urbana are our police and fire departments and the services they provide. These men and women step up to the plate and risk it all to protect the citizens of Champaign-Urbana and the surrounding areas. From every type of crime you can imagine, to fire, rescue, and medical emergencies these people are here for us. So we are here for them. We would also like to honor and sincerely thank the past and present members of the United States military for their service to our country so that we may remain a free people.
